About My Hearing Helper

Find the right hearing clinic, with help every step of the way.

Who we are

A free guide to local hearing care

My Hearing Helper is a free hearing care guide. We help you find a trusted hearing clinic near you, compare your options, and book a free hearing test. Then we stay with you from your first question to your final decision.

Finding hearing care can feel overwhelming. The terminology is confusing, there are a lot of providers to sort through, and some companies seem more interested in a sale than in your hearing. We started My Hearing Helper to make the process simpler, clearer, and more personal.

We aren’t a clinic, and we don’t provide hearing care ourselves. That job belongs to the licensed providers at the clinics in our network. Our job is everything around the visit. We help you choose a clinic you feel good about, get you there, and make sure you have answers along the way.

Our mission

Better hearing, within reach.

We believe everyone deserves clear answers, simple steps, and someone in their corner when they’re deciding what to do about their hearing. That means honest information, no pressure, and real help with the things that get in the way, like cost worries, scheduling, and transportation.

Our clinics

Only select clinics

We don’t list every hearing clinic in town. My Hearing Helper works only with select clinics in established hearing care networks, such as the Audibel network. Every clinic has to meet our standards before we show it to you, so the options you compare are ones we’re comfortable sending you to.

How we verify clinics

Before a clinic appears on My Hearing Helper, we confirm that it:

  • Has licensed providers on staff.

Hearing aids are fitted by state-licensed professionals, and every clinic we work with has them.

  • Offers a free hearing test.

Your test is free, with no obligation to buy anything.

  • Belongs to an established network.

Every clinic is part of a recognized hearing care network, and we label it that way, so you always know who you’re dealing with.

  • Has accurate, up-to-date details.

We confirm each clinic’s name, address, and providers, so the clinic you see is the clinic you visit.

  • Respects your time.

We look for clinics that confirm new patients quickly and keep appointments on schedule.

We keep checking

Verification doesn’t stop once a clinic joins. We pay attention to what patients tell us and to public reviews, and a clinic that stops meeting our standards stops appearing on My Hearing Helper.

How it works

Four simple steps

1

Tell us a little about you.

A few quick questions help us understand what matters most: who the test is for, whether you wear hearing aids today, and what’s on your mind.

2

Compare select clinics near you.

We show you verified clinics in our network by their real names, with their address, distance, reviews, and providers where available. You’ll always know exactly which clinic you’re booking with before you commit.

3

Book your free hearing test.

Book online or with a Patient Care Coordinator, at a time that works for you.

4

Get help all the way through.

From reminders and directions to a ride if you need one, we’re with you before, during, and after your visit.

What you get

The help that comes with it

Everything below is free to you.
  • Help choosing the right clinic.

We help you compare verified clinics based on where you live and what matters to you, such as the soonest available appointment or a clinic close to home. You make the choice, and we’re here to help you make it.

  • A free hearing test with no obligation.

Your hearing test is free, and you’re never obligated to buy anything.

  • Free rides to your appointment.

If getting there is a challenge, we’ll arrange a free round-trip ride to and from your visit.

  • Hannah, your guide.

Hannah is the My Hearing Helper guide you’ll see on our site and in your emails and texts. She keeps you up to date with your booking confirmation, reminders, directions, and what to expect, so you always know what’s next.

  • Real people, whenever you need them.

Our team answers your calls, texts, and emails. When you call us, you’ll talk to a real person, and you won’t have to start from scratch every time.

  • Plain answers before your visit.

We explain what happens at a hearing test, how long it takes, and what it costs (nothing). We also help you prepare questions for your provider, so you walk in feeling ready rather than unsure.

  • Support for family members and caregivers.

Booking for a parent or spouse? We’ll keep you in the loop with updates and make it easy to come along to the appointment.

  • Easy rescheduling.

Plans change. If you miss your appointment or need a new time, we’ll help you rebook, either at the same clinic or at another verified clinic nearby.

What we are, and what we’re not

We’re a guide that helps you choose and book a hearing clinic, and we stay with you through your decision. We’re not a clinic, and we don’t sell hearing aids. The care, the test results, and any device recommendations come from your provider. We’ll always be honest with you, including when hearing aids aren’t the answer.
